Jean Bond is our Centre Director and a co-founder. Jean lectured in teacher education at the University of Warwick for 19 years, teaching psychology of education and specializing in the teaching of disaffected and disruptive pupils for both undergraduates and qualified teachers. With 25 years experience studying and developing her expertise in the field of Emotional Education, she designs and leads our programmes. Jean developed the UK’S first Post-Graduate Certificate in Emotional Education accredited by Derby University. Her book ‘Behind the Masks’ which deals with her work with people of all ages and walks of life was published in 1993, and her work has been featured on ‘Woman’s Hour’ and other TV and radio programmes; her work was the subject of a full-length feature article in the Sunday Times
